Remember, the practice chart for the 8th week of the first quarter is due WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 8th.

Advanced Band practice charts for week 7 of the first 9 weeks is due on Wednesday, October 1st.

All Advanced Band students will be required to practice their instrument for 90 minutes every week and have a parent/guardian sign their initials that the practice time is correct. A practice chart will be given to each student at the beginning of each semester. They are responsible for keeping up with this piece of paper.

Students are to turn in their practice report on Wednesday each week. Every week students will have the opportunity to receive 10 points for a completed practice report. If the report is turned in incomplete the student will receive a grade of zero. Every school day that the report is late 1 point will be deducted from the 10 points.

The Advanced Band at Millington Middle School is made up of 7th and 8th grade students who have played their instruments for at least one year and have passed Beginning Band. These classes meet during the 1st, 2nd, and 4th period classes on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.

Remember, your week 6 practice charts are due on September 24.

Beginning Band Members,

We will be playing our instruments on Wednesday, September 24th. You need to make sure you bring your instrument, with all the accessories, and your book. If you do not have a book please visit the people down at C’s Jewelry or go to Amro in Memphis.

The Beginning Band at Millington Middle School is made up of 6th and 7th grade students who are in their first year of playing an instrument. These classes meet during the 3rd, 5th, and 6th period classes on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.
